The group began their day very early this morning... at 4:00 AM! From Kfar Hanokdim, it was a short ride to the base of Masada. Once they got there, they started their ascent to the top just in time to watch the beautiful sunrise over the Dead Sea.
After enjoying the sunrise and taking LOTS of photos, the group spent some time visiting the archaeological sites located at the top of Masada, as well as learning about the story of Masada. They then took the winding snake path down Masada, before joining with their friends from HDUK for breakfast. When they got to the bottom, they went for a short ride to the Dead Sea, where they had time to cool off, relax, and float around in the water.
Later on, they went to their hostel in Ein Gedi to shower and rest after a long, but exciting morning! In the evening, they had a few activities with HDUK. Tomorrow, the group will begin the MBI free weekend.
